Walking and biking to school is a great way to start the day. “Let’s Move May!” events will encourage students to get moving by biking, walking or rolling to school. If your child has not walked or biked to school, click on the following links for safety information about walking or riding. May 9th and May 16th will be official “Walk and Roll to School” days. May 9th will also be the start of our Walking Wednesdays TA Community Walk. Parents are invited to walk with students and staff during our homeroom Teacher Advisory from 8:40 until 9:00 on the track.

to a school in Kesennuma City, Japan after the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. Students from the elementaryschool wrote back thanking our students for their generous help.

Thank you for sending us the supplies when we were in trouble after the earthquake. Among the supplies, there were a variety of things: food, pencils, erasers...It was very helpful for us to receive these necessities of life. I thought I wanted to say "thank you" to each person who sent these to us. Therefore, I am so glad I hae a chance to write this letter to you. If you are ever in trouble, I would like to help you.
